A Herne Bay company with one job: making sure a wheelchair never decides where you can and can't go.
Our story
MV4U — Mobility Vehicles 4 U — grew out of a simple frustration: hiring a wheelchair accessible vehicle in Kent meant dealing with distant national depots, inflexible terms and nobody who'd actually answer the phone. We believed a local company could do it properly — deliver to the door, demonstrate everything in person, and treat every hire like it's for a neighbour. Because in Herne Bay, it usually is.
Today we run a fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles — from compact WAVs to large multi-wheelchair WAVs — plus vehicle adaptations for disabled drivers, left foot accelerators and steering aids, hired across the whole of Kent from our base at Station Yard, Cross Street.
Our mission
Mobility freedom shouldn't depend on owning a £30,000 vehicle. Our mission is to make accessible transport available to anyone in Kent, for exactly as long as they need it — a single week or a whole season — with pricing that's fair and service that feels personal.
Standards you can trust
Every vehicle is safety-inspected between hires, fully insured for approved drivers, and covered for breakdown at no extra cost — and qualifying customers can hire VAT-exempt.
